We don’t always see how much of an impact we’ve had on someone. But we’re to witness in faith, and the Lord will often open unprecedented, unimagined further opportunities—and give wisdom abundantly to meet those opportunities. However, a faithful intercessor who has laid much groundwork, though he may look forward to being mightily used in a more active way, must also be prepared to rejoice without rancor should the Lord choose someone else to participate in the culmination of the intercessor’s labors. Having prayed diligently and witnessed in faith, we can leave it with the Lord and trust Him. —TBC

"I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase."
