The Lord Jesus very emphatically stated that the one who looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. The issue here, of course, is that the battle against sin is won or lost in the mind (James:1:13–14). Consider the many Scriptures warning against setting anything vain or profane before our eyes. There are too many things in this evil age that conspire against the integrity of our marriages. We don’t need to increase the odds against the success of the most important relationship (aside from with the Lord) that we have. “Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us” (Hebrews:12:1). —TBC

"But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart."

Matthew:5:28
