It is a difficult and lifelong process for us to achieve submission and dependence. The greatest battle takes place in our mind. Romans:12:1-2 [1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
See All... tells us to "...present [our] bodies a living sacrifice....And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind...." With this is mind, 2 Corinthians:10:4-5 [4] (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) [5] Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

The main battlefield is the human mind. —TBC
