The bottom line is to know the Scriptures thoroughly, to remain open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and to intercede as you await the opportunities the Lord can give you—remembering, too, that the church without spot or wrinkle for whom the Lord Jesus Christ will return is not going to be an institutional one but made up of those who are truly His. Putting it another way, we will continue to see apostasy and delusion, the Scriptures tell us. We must remain faithful, diligent, watchful, and not grow discouraged at what we may see in the churches about us.
