DAILY READINGS: Gen:2:4-25; Job:2:11 to 3:26; Matt. 2

God…maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish. 2 Corinthians:2:14-15

Have you ever felt your heart bursting with joy, love, praise and thanksgiving? This was one of those times in Paul’s life. He was certain that God was leading him, even though his circumstances were not comfortable. He couldn’t explain the detours of life; but he was certain God was in control. His constant desire was that the fragrance of Christ might be experienced by all with whom he came into contact. May this be true of you and me. —Jim Comte

Lord, I would clasp Thy hand in mine, nor ever murmur nor repine,

Content, whatever lot I see, since ‘tis Thy hand that leadeth me. —Gilmore
