We are witnessing in our day the continuing fulfillment of Christ's remarkable prophecy: "Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled" (Luke:21:24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
See All...). Jerusalem has been fought over and occupied by nearly every major power in history. Today, though Israel is militarily in control of Jerusalem, non-Jews contiue to reject her legitimacy and to dictate practical policy with regard to Jerusalem. According to Christ, this will continue to be the case until Armageddon. Only then will the "times of the Gentiles" be fulfilled.
