The Bible makes it clear that God will not establish the earthly manifestation of His kingdom through irresistible grace, but that Christ himself will return to earth as King and Judge and reign in person for 1,000 years on the throne of David, as the Hebrew prophets and the angel Gabriel promised.

Even then, however, after Christ has exercised dominion over the earth for 1,000 years, when Satan is loosed and allowed access to mankind again, he will "deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth." The nations will attack Jesus and His saints at Jerusalem and be destroyed. That will be the final proof of the blind pride and incorrigible nature of the human heart. All of the fallacious arguments of the psychologists and sociologists claiming that it is the environment or society or abuse people have suffered in childhood that causes men to err will have been laid to rest.

In the perfect environment of the millennial kingdom with Christ personally upon earth reigning as King, man will have demonstrated the evil of his heart—just as Adam and Eve did in the perfection of the Garden of Eden. No further proof will be needed that without the regenerative work of the Holy Spirit in the human heart there is no hope. The final judgment will be meted out and the real kingdom, which is eternal and into which sin can never enter, will have begun for those who have repented and received Christ as Savior and Lord.
