This issue seems to affect only Internet Explorer 6 and 7 users.
The answer is that Internet Explorer has not been configured to play audio files correctly. Follow these steps to solve the problem:
- Open Internet Explorer
- Open the Tools menu, choose Internet Options
- Click on the Programs tab
- Click on Manage Add-ons
- There are probably one or two "QuickTime Object" items, these should be both set to Enabled.
- If thre are not "Quicktime Object" items in the list, you may need to download the free QuickTime software.
We do not offer technical support for your computer, however we've found this is a common issue. This is an easy solution to the problem for those who feel comfortable installing software on your computer. We recommend Quicktime, we've had good experiences using it. There are many other audio programs for Windows that probably work as well.
