Hi! What happened? I was planning to come to the Conference in August! Why did you change it?

Answer:

We've moved our conference to November this year for a couple reasons:

Bend High School was an acceptable location, but has a serious drawback: no air conditioning. Because of the lack of climate control, we had to limit registration to just 600 people, and were not able to advertise the conference in Bend at all. A Fall or Winter conference is not possible at Bend High because of the school schedule.

The Riverhouse has a new conference center that seats 1200, and is in a convenient location. A summer conference at The Riverhouse would not work, the "high season" rates are prohibitive! November is affordable, and the weather is usually pleasant.
