Question:

I get a "Codec is missing" error when trying to play your radio program.

Answer:

This is a configuration problem that sometimes occurs with Windows computers. We are not able to help configure your computer, but there is information available from Microsoft at:

I believe that the codec error problem in Vista may be related to Quicktime and iTunes. You can't trouble shoot everyones computer, but suggest that the user does have the latest updates for Quicktime and iTunes and that will probably help most. Whatever software you use to compress and ready these files for internet delivery, is the codec you use. If the end user doesn't have that decompressor that matches your compressor (Co=compressor dec=decompressor thus co-dec) they will have problems.

I get the error with Windows Media, but have no problems with Real or Quicktime players. You may recommend one of those 2 players.
