A new report finds that American adults who claim no religious affiliation increased from 14 million in 1990 to 34 million in 2008.

The new report says those who don't claim any religious affiliation are more likely to be male, young, living in the West and politically independent.

The idea that a Palestinian state can lead to enduring peace in the Middle East has become a diplomatic obsession for American policy makers. Bringing such a state into being has become the equivalent of finding the Holy Grail. In fact, however, a Palestinian state would not only fail to bring peace and stability to the region, but would make it an even more dangerous place than it already is.

Hamas Complains, So U.N. School Will Not Teach Gaza Students About Holocaust [Excerpts]
