These are two excellent stories, both dealing with the Scripture, “Though your sins be scarlet, they shall be whiter than snow.”

“Whiter than Snow” is a tender, sad story about a lonely little girl who ponders what the words she once heard, “whiter than snow,” might mean. Another young girl befriends her and begins to help her to earn about Jesus.

Teddy's father was a soldier and had died in battle. Teddy's most prized possession is a button from his father's uniform, and his greatest desire is to become a brave soldier like his father. His pride and inclination for mischief create conflict with others and within himself as he finds that there is a "Captain of our souls" who must be served.
