First John:2:24–26 says in part, “Let that therefore abide in you, which you have heard from the beginning. . . .” This passage was intended to prevent us from being led astray. We can trust our God to equip and guide us in unique and solid ways—as He wills, in His time, for His purposes. In the meantime, it is important to pursue what we already know. It’s interesting that when we are diligent about the things we do know to do, the Lord provides further insights.
"A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps."
