Although a Christian who seeks to walk in a holy and righteous manner will certainly enjoy better health as he avoids many things that can be injurious, nevertheless, we do live in a sin-cursed world where the rain falls on the just and the unjust (Matthew:5:45), and where the second law of thermodynamics still holds sway. We all age, our body parts wear out, and some of us may be subject to physical problems much like the stomach problems that bothered Timothy (1 Timothy:5:23). Many people  were healed through the ministry of Paul, but to Timothy he gave some advice on how to relieve the symptoms of his physical problem. The same apostle Paul also said, "and Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick" (2 Timothy:4:20). —TBC
