To the one without Christ, or the one whose relationship with Christ is marred by infatuation with self, the “lies, deceit, wars, murder, wickedness in high places, political chicanery,” etc., will certainly wear them down. Why shouldn’t it? And if you look to other Christians—again, we aren’t to use them as our standard. As Christians, we are not to be of this world.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
