We should seek the Lord’s direction daily. No greater advice can be given than, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs:3:5–6). And again, “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass” (Psalm:37:5). In other words, don’t run ahead of the Lord. Don’t ask the Lord to use you; ask Him to make you usable.
