We are saved by the death of Christ (Romans 5), who declared (John:19:30) on the Cross that it was finished; however, implicit in that act and that statement was the joy set before Him (Hebrews:12:2): the certain fact of His resurrection, and all that both His death and resurrection obtained for “whosoever will” of mankind.
"And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."
