Wagner quotes an “expert” that Kali “is the goddess of darkness, evil, and destruction…to whom the entire city [of Calcutta] is dedicated.” That does not mean, however, that Kali can be bound and the entire city of Calcutta thereby set free. Breaking free from any demon, whether or not represented by an idol, is a matter of individual faith in Christ through the preaching of the gospel.
