Promise Keepers (PK). With its Seven Promises may well be the fastest-growing religious movement in history. Actually, the first promise keepers meeting was held at the base of Mount Sinai when God gave the Ten Commandments and Israel [1] promised to obey them. These first “promise keepers” utterly failed to fulfill their pledge. There is nothing wrong with the Ten Commandments; mankind is simply unable to keep them. Obviously, then, seven more obligations are not what we need. Who invented the seven new ones? And by what authority?
