This is not science [1] but “scientism,” the worship of science [1] in the place of God. The truth, however, is that science [1] never will be able to explain ultimate reality. We could quickly list dozens of common phenomenon that science [1] has not been able to explain: light, the electron, life, love, conscience [1], ethics, morals, etc. In contrast to the confidence fifty years ago that physical science [1] would soon explain everything, including mind and personality, most scientists now recognize that science [1] can never explain the most basic elements of the universe and our existence.
