Though they would deny it, atheists have their own religion. Atheism [1] is a faith. It has no foundation in fact and certainly cannot be proved but must be taken by “faith.” The article from Wired referring to the New Atheists and their crusade against belief in God is titled “The Church of the Non-Believers.” It is a church to which they insist that everyone must belong because atheists alone can reason logically. In their religious fervor to destroy what they imagine is “religious faith” and to convert the entire world to their atheistic religion, they reveal an ignorance of the true faith that motivates biblical Christians.
