Unquestionably, some who have called themselves Christians (Roman Catholic [1] popes, Eastern Orthodox leaders, the Crusaders, and not a few modern televangelists, for example) have been guilty of all manner of evil. In the process, they have violated the teachings and example of Christ. The fundamentals of true Christianity, however, promote love, freedom of choice, and forgiveness.
