“O God, may we never grow used to hearing the thud of Christless feet on the road to hell.”

--W. P. Nicholson, born 1876 in Northern Ireland. He spent his early years on his father's cargo ship, saved in 1899 and receiving a call to preach almost immediately. He was known for 'men-only' meetings where God dealt with great numbers of souls. At the Belfast shipyard they built a special shed to house stolen tools returned by converted workers as revival blessing swept the country. It was called the 'Nicholson Shed' and stood as a testimony to the power of the gospel in changing a sinner, but also witnessing to the power of The Holy Spirit in a consecrated preacher.
