Dear TBC,

I learned through the Gospel that repentance is a change of direction from rejecting Jesus Christ to humbly surrendering to Him and His ways. We are saved by grace through faith, not of works. Christ wants us to come to Him just the way we are, but not to stay that way. I always believed in God and the Trinity as a Catholic for almost 60 years. I never trusted Christ for my salvation until I heard the gospel and asked Jesus to reveal Himself to me, and He did in a mighty way—that instant my life changed forever, PTL. The Holy Spirit convicted me of my sins and still does, I am a new creature in Christ! That was 5 glorious years ago, I hate what I used to love and love what I used to hate, it’s only through Christ and Christ alone (Acts:4:12), being sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians:1:13), nothing can separate me from Christ my savior (Romans:8:38-39), it is not about a religion but a relationship (Galatians:2:20-21). Thank you for your message, and prayers continue for salvation for all (Romans:1:16). PW (email)

Dear TBC,

Thank you for your continuing work. It was a real blessing to meet Dave Hunt in Meridian, Idaho before he passed away. I spent two years in the NAR from 2008 to 2010. It was not a fun experience. I really wanted to be a worship leader and the Lord providentially removed me from the NAR. Sadly, my former denomination is being affected and impacted by the NAR through its Trojan Horse: music. There is no discernment whatsoever and the pastors and worship leaders aren’t doing anything about it. Hence, the reason why I left.

I felt convicted by the Holy Spirit about the Charismatic Movement while watching the late Caryl Matrisciana’s wonderful documentary series Wide is the Gate, especially Volume 3 which focuses entirely on the New Apostolic Reformation. I’m thankful I memorized this Bible verse as my life verse because it has served me well over the years. “See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world, rather than on Christ” (Colossians:2:8 NIV). May the Lord continue to richly bless you and your marvelous work in defending the faith in earnest contention for the true saints of God. Please know that your hard work is not in vain. BW (email)

Dear TBC,

It is very difficult to not be influenced by gifted teachers, but God says, Psalm:118:8-9: “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.”

It is so easy to be fooled, I have traveled many paths off the God-given one, I have read and been influenced by hundreds of books and in other ways, by great Christian teachers, and found myself in error. Fortunately going back to the Bible as a Berean got me back on track. I now always check with the Bible no matter how greatly I respect a teacher. No one is inerrant but God. I still am influenced but almost immediately it’s corrected by reading and researching the Bible. Anon. (email)
