Dave Hunt's Love of the Truth

I remember seeing Dave in person, only once, in 1989, when he was invited to speak at the New Hope Christian Church, which, at that time, was located in Bristol, RI. It is now located in Swansea, MA. He spoke on the subject of his book, " A Woman Rides The Beast ". During the question and answer session, I recall asking Dave about his then upcoming novelization, " The Archon Conspiracy ", which was later re-issued under the title " The Mind Invaders ". He was surprised that anyone knew about it, so I explained that I read about it from your newsletter, which was issued by your previous organization, " Christian Information Bureau ", when you were located in Camarillo, CA. Dave had one of the most inquisitive, penetrating, and probing minds. He obviously was gifted by the Holy Spirit with discernment, with which he rightly divided and applied the Word of God. He was most effective in exposing the false teachings of those who are easy prey to the deceptions of the enemy. There have been few persons that I know who have had such a love of the truth. He will be missed.
