Reading An Urgent Call to a Serious Faith and listening to its Search The Scriptures Daily Radio discussion influenced my faith very much. I got saved by the godly example of my wife's family, what they were experiencing in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. This was a good challenge for me as a former catholic and at one point [September 2000], I repented and believed in the sufficient work of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, sufficient for our salvation and living a godly life and being forever with Him, and was born again. Having a scientic education, I really need to be convinced by evidence and proof in order to trust and believe in something. I only learned really trusting in the Bible, in God's word by Dave's above mentioned book and his discussions with Tom, where he showed that the Bible really provides rock solid proofs. He showed me (and all the listeners) that fulfilled prophecy is the most important proof of the Bible. And the Bible declares that also for example in Isaja 46:9-10. So I really learned by Dave to "search the scriptures daily" myself, and I do it since then. I have read through the whole Bible at least once a year since then and by doing that, I'm getting closer and closer to our Lord Jesus Christ.
