How I was influenced by the SSD radio discussions

Since 2000, I'm listening to all the Search The Scriptures Radio discussions. I still do it today on my Ipod. It is always fascinating to see the love of Dave (and Tom) for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, which shines through all the discussions. Reason and Emotion are intertwined. You recognize their heart. They are not fault-finding but discerning. They want to serve the Lord and His Body. They want people really to come back to the scriptures for better discernment in this age of apostasy. And they are both forthright and compassionate and full of (agape) love. Listening to them is like listening to dear friends you are sharing common interests with (Our Lord, His Word, bringing the gospel to a lost world). So we have lost our dear brother (and friend) Dave, but we are comforted, because we will meet brother Dave again. He is now with His and Our Lord.
