Dear Dave,
I have been receiving The Berean Call for years and have purchased materials from your organization. I made a decisionto find out if what Roman Catholicism teaches is true or not. I put down all the anti-Catholic propaganda books that I had been reading (including yours and others offered by your organization), and began reading from Roman Catholic sources about what the Catholic Church teaches, and to my great joy, I found the pearl of great price—the kingdom of God on earth, the Roman Catholic Church and Jesus truly present, body, blood, soul and divinity in the Eucharist. A few years ago your newsletter ran an article about Blessed Mother Teresa that was so despicable, I couldn’t believe what I was reading. I ask you to publicly, in your newsletter, apologize to this Blessed Saint and ask God for forgiveness for defaming one of His masterpieces. Mother Teresa pray for us, to Jesus thru Mary. JS (MA)
Dear Dave and Staff,
In the mid-1990s, my wife and I began praying for wisdom and truth after having attended the Pensacola revival….We both eventually came to the conclusion that what we experienced was not scriptural, and if it wasn’t in the Bible, we didn’t have to believe it, no matter who told us that we needed to. It was about this time that we started praying for wisdom and truth, and that prayer was wonderfully answered….Seduction of Christianity…turned on a lot of lights….Next was The New Spirituality, followed by Beyond Seduction, The God Makers, A Woman Rides the Beast, Occult Invasion, and others. Your books helped change our lives. DD (FL)
Dear Bereans,
To add to the biblical evidence proving a pre-trib rapture, some logical/common-sense issues can be applied. If Christians were to go through the Tribulation, then millions of well-studied Christians would immediately recognize the Antichrist when he steps out into the world scene. Those Christians would shout out a loud warning to the world, which would create chaos in the Antichrist’s camp, invariably spoiling his plans. With the Christians off the earth before the Tribulation, the door will be wide open for a hostile corporate takeover of the world by Satan and his minions. RO (MI)
Dear Dave Hunt,
You have done it again. When The Seduction of Christianity first came out, I was right there with you. I had felt and believed that something was wrong with the teachings of those who at that time held prominence in the church. Your latest book, What Love Is This?, has again “gelled” in my heart and mind the gross error held not only by Roman Catholics, but by those who call themselves Calvinists. May God bless your work. Dear Dave,
Re your article “Pre- or Post-Trib Rapture,” in TBC 10/03, you say, “We know not why the Bridegroom tarries,” and yet according to 2 Peter:3:12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
See All..., we ought to know….From the human perspective, we can hasten the return of Christ by helping to win converts to Him. The reason why He has not already fulfilled “the promise of his coming” (2 Peter:3:4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
See All...) is because He is waiting for all the elect to “come to repentance” (2 Peter:3:9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
See All...). Dave, bless you for writing this article—so needed. LF (OR)
Dear Dave Hunt,
I enjoy all your newsletters, but your January 2003 letter on “If Any Man Thirst” was the best I’ve read. I made several copies and gave them out to friends and pastors. It covered so much that is needed. MS (MN)
Dear Sir/Madam/Brother/Sister,
Thank you for the newsletters you have been sending over the years. I have grown so much through them, and I especially love the way you expose the cults and false religions. You have also turned me into a Berean, and I am since testing everything I read, and praise God, it has kept me from being deceived. WW (prisoner, South Africa)
Dear Dave and T.A.,
I just want to tell you how much we appreciate your stand among Christians. You’re both “a head taller” than most of us, mainly because you take the Bible literally—not watered down in the least—and you’re not afraid to say it like it is. How refreshing! It’s such a treat to hear someone who isn’t afraid of “offending” someone and stepping on a few toes. I wish we could hear you on the radio, but your program isn’t available in our area. DD (PA)
