My beloved David went home on Friday, April 5, to be with the One he loved and served so well for so many years. As his wife for 62 God-blest years, I was privileged to know and appreciate the passion with which he served his Master and the wise and tender role he filled as husband to me and as father to our children.

It was a privilege, as well, to know David in his wider sphere of ministry in many far off places. Many will remember his passion for the Word and his patience in sharing it both from the pulpit and in more intimate settings.

Rejoice with us that David is now experiencing Heaven’s promised joys and the Father’s “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
