Nuggets from “Judgment Day: Islam, Israel, and the Nations” by Dave Hunt -

At the very heart of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and proving it to be true, are the numerous prophecies concerning Israel, her land, and her Messiah. Christ’s genealogy, first advent, Second Coming, and future reign on earth are intertwined with Israel. Muslim cannot accept the forgiveness offered by the true God, because the Qur’an denies that Jesus died for the sins of the world and was resurrected. Moreover, at the very heart of Islam is a determination to destroy Israel, which if it could be accomplished would prove the Bible false, including its promised Messiah.

There is no compromise in this conflict between Christianity and Islam, between Yahweh and Allah. To “dialogue” over mutually exclusive and hopelessly irreconcilable teachings in order to arrive at an ecumenical “understanding” would be absurd and a denial of both.

Imams worldwide preach that victory over Israel, and Islam’s promised conquest of the world, will not come until Muslims return to the submissive practice of the fundamentals of their faith in full obedience to Muhammad and the Qur’an. Heeding this call, there has been a marked rise in a return to fundamentalist Islam in the last few decades. Complicating the controversy, is the fact that Islam’s Dome of the Rock sits on the very site of past Jewish temples. Most Israelis, whether religious or secular, are as determined to see the Temple rebuilt as the Muslims are to prevent it – even to the point of denying that a Jewish temple was ever there! The Bible declares that it will inindeed be rebuilt.
