Nuggets from “Judgment Day: Islam, Israel, and the Nations” by Dave Hunt

The haunting terrifying image of handcuffed New Jersey-born Daniel Pearl, Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford, gun to his head, a gentle father-to-be who loved life and pursued truth worldwide as a journalist for “The Wall Street Journal,” pops unbidden into one’s mind. His Muslim captors made a snuff video to show their handiwork to the world. He seems almost relaxed, exuding good will, as he obeys in confessing that he is a Jew. Suddenly his throat is slit, his head severed and defiantly displayed, raised again and again.

“I am a Jew.” The words, echoing across the slain and mutilated bodies strewn through thirteen hundred years of Islamic history, seem to come not only from Pearl’s lips but from millions of others. Gradually, the sickening truth emerges: this is what “Palestine” is all about. A cry of outrage bursts from one’s throat—then silence. No one is listening.
