Nuggets from “Judgment Day: Islam, Israel, and the Nations” by Dave Hunt

Having established Islam in Arabia through the Wars of Apostasy, Abu Bakr and succeeding Caliphs spread it swiftly by brutal conquest. Millions were killed by the conquering jihadists. With stunning swiftness and overwhelming ferocity, Islam’s insatiable sword created an unprecedented empire – “…more rapid than the Roman, more lasting than the Mongol, [in] the most amazing feat in military history” (Will Durant, The Story of Civilization, Vol VI, The Reformation), conquering country after country. From France all the way to China, they compelled the unwilling to submit to the new paganism or die. Muslims assure us that they only fight “defensive” wars. Really? All the way to China?

That deceit is exposed by the Qur’an’s more than one hundred verses commanding Muslims to spread Islam with the sword. The following are a small sample:

“To him who fighteth in the cause of Allah – whether he is slain or gets victory – soon shall We give him a reward of [great] value.” (4:74)

“Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them….But if they repent and establish worship [of Allah] and pay the poor-due [tax], then leave their way free [in brutal, humiliating submission under Muslim rule].” (9:5)

“Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture [Bible] as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day…until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low.” (9:29)

“Therefore, when ye meet Unbelievers [in battle], smite at their necks…when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly [on them]…those who are slain in the way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost.” (47:4)

“Truly Allah loves those who fight in His Cause in battle array….” (61:4)

“He it is Who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the true religion, that He may make it overcome the religions, all of them, though the polytheists may be averse.” (61:9)
