Hunt, Dave

Remember that there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. And consider this: If you feel that you have to forgive yourself, you are in danger of assuming the prerogatives of God. You say that the accuser is still trying to rob you of peace and joy. That’s not something he’ll stop trying to do, so you might as well get used to his attempts, refuse to allow them, and rejoice that you qualify as a target! Set your face like a flint and stop focusing on yourself (Romans:12:3), on the past (Hebrews:12:1,2), or on the darts of the enemy (Ephesians:6:16). Focus on Christ, on what He’s done, on what He offers you, and on what you’re doing to Him when you won’t receive it. —TBC

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

Romans:8:1
