Remember that there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. And consider this: If you feel that you have to forgive yourself, you are in danger of assuming the prerogatives of God. You say that the accuser is still trying to rob you of peace and joy. That’s not something he’ll stop trying to do, so you might as well get used to his attempts, refuse to allow them, and rejoice that you qualify as a target!
