Although it is true that some have a more intimate relationship with God due to diligent practice, this status is not reserved to a select few. Paul desired that “ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding” (Colossians:1:9). Peter ended his second epistle with the admonition to “grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen” (2 Peter:3:18). May God encourage us to that end.

"And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him."
