Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians:4:18

The entertainment industry capitalizes on people's interest in the future. Their make-believe productions mix drama, suspense, and sensuality, and leave the viewer confused, fearful and hopeless. God speaks of the future as a time when Jesus will come for us, to take us out of this world and into a glorious place where He dwells. The conclusion of God's story is meant to bring us great comfort now. Why would we waste our time and money on that which only leaves us empty? A couple of hours spent in God's Word encourages, comforts and leaves us with a true sense of joy. —Charlie Tempest

Oh Lord Jesus how long, how long, ere we shout the glad song?

Christ returneth! Hallelujah! Hallelujah, amen! Hallelujah, amen!

— H. L. Turner
