Dear TBC,

Thank you for explaining the simple truth! Proverbs:30:5-6: "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." Instead of accepting the straightforward words of God, man has many motivations such as pride and love of money for imagining false systems of worship. The world today is as the world before the flood. Genesis:6:5: "And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." Anon. (email)

Dear TBC,

I thank God for this ministry. Keep it up, Bereans. You are eye openers and the Lord will not "forget your labour of love shown towards His name." God will justly judge all who are blaspheming and insulting Him and His holy Word to perfect judgement. They think they are wise and smart but they are fools. ID (email)

Dear TBC,

The biblical Jesus, His real purpose, was to save guilty sinners from their sins and the wrath of God. The movie Jesus says, “To heal the broken, to guide the lost—that is my purpose.” More visual idolatry and false doctrine being spread against the truth of the Bible. This is ANOTHER Jesus. Dear TBC,

You know, even at a young age a person is able to want to seek and know the Truth. I remember pondering on truth when I was five years old already. God knows the heart. No amount of religion can for long sway seekers from the ultimate Truth who is Christ. KC (email)

Dear TBC,

You can never know what your posts mean to me. Years ago, I learned of you via another ministry. May the Lord bless and keep you in these perilous times. Love you in Christ. LDP (South Africa email)

Dear TBC,

I was brought up Irish Catholic, as I got older I wasn’t interested. I have been saved for 25 years—praise God for His graciousness and love, Amen. RM (email)

Dear TBC,

Thank you. [Regarding an online video featuring Greg Durel] Greg was my mentor and friend. He made a huge impact on me when I lived in New Orleans. Listened to his show daily in my work truck driving around the city cleaning swimming pools and he answered many questions I had on the Bible. Ordered my first study Bible through him. My daughter was dedicated at his church. BI (email)

Dear TBC,

Personally, I don't rely on any movie or show to interpret the Bible for me. In fact I believe every one of us is responsible to know God's Word for themselves directly from the source, the Holy Bible. However, I will say, shows like this [The Promised Land] and The Chosen did help me not only to pick up my Bible more, but to actually learn it so that I may have discernment on false doctrines. God can always use anything for the good.

I actually used to find Leviticus kind of a boring book, all the rules for atonement and such. But after watching this show, I've gone back to read it with more understanding of the Israelite community, the tents of each tribe, the kind of relatable problems they had to deal with, the way they lined up to speak to Moses, etc. It just helped to humanize the people I was reading about and it honestly made Leviticus easier to read. None of the mainstream movies or popular shows are ever 100 percent biblically accurate. Like, ThePrince of Egypt had so many errors. I just pray over everyone watching that God may bless them with the gift of discernment and that He uses everything for His will, let His will be done, in Jesus’ name. UO (email)

Dear TBC,

There are more Evangelicals today who treat Roman Catholics as brothers and sisters than ever, and believe their religion as just another denomination. We need to witness to “Christians” the gospel of salvation (1 Corinthians:15:1-4; John:3:16-19). WA (email)

Hello,

I wanted to drop a line to you all to say thank you. I remember the days getting The Berean Call back in the 1990s in printed form. My buddy and I used to get together and watch Dave Hunt videos for hours. That friend has gone to be with the Lord three years ago. I have a precious email from him before he died commenting about watching Dave Hunt.

Thank you for your faithfulness and contending for the Faith, you’re still encouraging me in my walk with the Lord Jesus. Maranatha. JR (email)
