Dear TBC,

Thank you for speaking out against Sozo. I have 14 years of study and investigation of Sozo after losing a family member to this anti-biblical movement. Sozo emphasizes fresh, current, extra-biblical revelation over the written word. They pay lip-service to the “Bible” but usually only quote enough passages—usually out of context—to sway the “clients” into believing it is a biblical practice; it is not. The regressive memory therapy movement (RMT) died out in the mid-to-late-1990s after malpractice lawsuits and overturned convictions resulting from those accused based on false recovered memories.

At that time, much of the public understood the dangers, however time and events have swept this knowledge from public consciousness. The movement morphed into churches and Bethel Sozo sprang upon the scene, arising from total ignorance of the false recovered memory movement and now it is growing exponentially. I am in contact with victims from all over the globe who have suffered devastating tragedy and loss, and currently filming a documentary of those harmed. PR (email)

Dear TBC,

My experience is that the hardest thing to deal with is that most bad doctrine and teaching is very close to the truth. There is a perversion that happens where it is twisting a simple truth or by representing an incomplete as complete. Also, I am of the belief that the Holy Spirit will teach us as individuals some concepts that seem strange and that these are meant to be personal things and not to be taught to others. The Gospel is the universal truth. By bringing others to knowledge and belief in the Gospel of Jesus, the Word and Spirit can teach them what it desires them to know. Jesus Christ is the only firm foundation. MJ (email)

Dear TBC,

[Concerning the video Judgment Day! Chapter Four: The Truth About Palestine, see—https://bit.ly/47NTiTH] Our Lord Jesus Christ will shortly take His rightful place on the Throne of David and there He will sit as KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS OVER ALL CREATION. The Jews will be Kings and Priests over all the Earth. Thanks for this truthful but sickening chapter. LK (email)

Dear TBC,

True, it’s hard to find a body of believers that is trying to be close to the Lord by studying the Word & doing the things he asks. Much less following the whole Word in many areas. "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Timothy:2:15). "Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you" (John:15:14). BA (email)

Dear TBC,

[Concerning the video The History of the Church by T. A. McMahon and Ron Merryman, see—https://bit.ly/3HyWx6A] This is wonderful! I am an ex-Catholic. I was born in the late ’50s and grew up hearing exactly what Ron described. Catholics were told and some still are that only they are going to heaven…. Catholics were taught that they earned grace through the 7 church sacraments. Every time you committed a venial sin, you had to go to confession, say penance, take Communion and you're good to go. We were not taught how Christ's death on the cross worked with all of that. It was him crucified, good works and grace through sacraments. What was never explained was just how many good works did it take to wipe out venial sins, and if one committed a mortal sin, it was over.

[When I became] a new Christian…I almost drove myself crazy trying to do enough good works to compensate for the sins that I committed. It became very apparent that it was a losing battle. Other spiritual things happened and I fell away at age 17 for 16 years. But Jesus never gave up on me. He was never far away even though I did a lot of stupid stuff. Fast track to 1991. My husband became a Christian. I had never been so thrilled in all of my life. I renewed my faith in Christ shortly thereafter. PK (email)
