How could Dawkins have known enough to accurately portray natural selection’s alleged path in developing species? His presentation is pure speculation in its most brazen form. We’re all familiar with models of the solar system or models of new houses under construction—but models that show how evolution and natural selection work? This was a new idea that Dawkins proudly pioneered, and much of the scientific world has gone along with it. Atheists love it because they think it gives them the perfect escape from God. The layman is excited because he trustingly believes it provides a clear picture of what happens in natural selection.
