There is not just a paucity of fossil evidence—it doesn’t exist. Isn’t it time for us to ask the “brights” for more than just a hint of something hoped for here and there? We demand the overwhelming evidence that ought to exist if evolution is true. Where is it? When we ask why we don’t see evidence of natural selection in progress today, we are told that this occurs in very tiny steps over millions of years. If that is true, natural selection should have left in its wake billions of fossils testifying both to its successful upward step-by-step progress and to the many failures that had to be discarded along the way.
