Talking about “artistic license,” what about Dawkins’s phony model, which he so laboriously constructed and used in his lectures? His book Climbing Mount Improbable has carried this avoidance of truth to new heights of imagination. On our climb up Mount Improbable, Dawkins gives the example of tigers and lions, once a single species but through geographical separation becoming so dissimilar that they had to be treated as different species. Does he call this a valid example of “evolution” from plants to humans forming new species? Are we supposed to be convinced on the basis of such examples that the highly touted theories of evolution and natural selection are established fact?
