Evolution and natural selection can no more account for man’s physical features than they can for his moral and spiritual nature. The complexity and ingenuity of design, beginning with the smallest cell, could not possibly have come about by chance. At this point, Dawkins protests loudly, as we have heard him do in a number of debates, “Of course evolution couldn’t have come about by chance! Natural selection is the very opposite of chance!”
