True science began with discoveries that became theories and were finally established as laws by repeated experimentation. Any theory depends to a large extent upon the originator’s worldview. Dawkins has made his view very clear. It is an outgrowth of his atheism and he is adamant about it. To the atheist, nothing has any purpose or meaning. Absolutely nothing. Dawkins believes that his “creator” genes have neither mind nor will, cannot foresee the future, nor plan ahead. No wonder he titled on of his books The Blind Watchmaker.
