Of Allah, the Qur’an says, “So believe in Allah…and say not ‘Three’ – cease! Allah is only one God. Far is it removed from his transcendent majesty that he should have a son” (Surah 4:171, etc.). Then how can the Arabic Bible call Jesus the “Son of Allah”? That Allah has a son is denied sixteen times in the Qur’an. How blasphemous, then, to use “Allah” for “God” in the Arabic Bible! What could, “For Allah so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son…the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world” (John:3:16-17 [16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Furthermore, Allah has none of the characteristics of Yahweh, the God of the Bible. Allah is unknowable, whereas the God of the Bible reveals Himself to His own. Christ even stated that life eternal is only for those who know Him and the Father. Allah changes his mind and his revelations (Surah 2:106; 16:101), whereas the God of the Bible never changes (Malachi:3:6For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

See All..., etc.). Allah requires that Muslims die for him, but the God of the Bible came to this earth through a virgin birth and died for us, paying the full penalty for our sins on the Cross. Allah has no just basis for forgiveness of man’s sins, but the God of the Bible does. He forgives sins righteously because the full penalty for all of mankind’s sins was paid by Christ.

It is a blasphemous insult to the God of the Bible to equate Him with the pagan deity Allah. Yet this is typical of the willingness of professing Christians to trample on truth in their eagerness to placate Muslims. Such fawning flattery will not appease Islam but only encourage its terrorism and violent conquest. Nor will such compromising confusion help Muslims to know the true God, which is essential for salvation. We have already quoted the Qur’an’s statement that the true God is the God of the Jews - and He is certainly not Allah!
