Nuggets from "Judgment Day: Islam, Israel, and the Nations" by Dave Hunt

Calls for annihilation of Jews still resound throughout the Muslim world. For example, in a typical Friday sermon in Gaza’s Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan mosques, October 14, 2000, the imam shouted: “Have no mercy on the Jews…kill them…and those Americans who…established Israel here, in the beating heart of the Arab world… (Mitchell G. Bard, Myths and Facts: A Guide to the Arab Israeli Conflict [American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise, 2001], 95). That very day, two Israeli reservists innocently took a wrong turn into Ramallah and were literally torn apart by a frenzied mob – an event that was cheered when the grisly details, including their murderers holding and waving their victims’ entrails in bloody hands, were shown on Palestinian TV. In like manner, Muslim mobs around the world danced for joy in the streets when Saddam’s Scud missiles were raining down on Israel. Does Islam dehumanize its followers?

Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar succinctly expressed Islam’s sentiment, “From our ideological point of view, it is not allowed to recognize that Israel controls one square meter of historic Palestine.” Hamas is completely opposed to any move toward peace with Israel, because all such moves are fraught with danger that Muslims might, in the process, compromise and allow Jews to keep even the tiniest part of Palestine. The slogan of Hamas, “Allah is the target, the prophet is its model, the Qur’an its constitution, jihad is the path, and death for the sake of Allah is the loftiest of its wishes.” A kindergarten that is run by Hamas has slogans on the wall such as, “The children of kindergarten are the holy martyrs of tomorrow.” Hamas boast, “Israel has nuclear bombs; we have human bombs.”
