One wonders how it was that Pat [Robertson] and his family ended up owning controlling interests in the Family network and selling it in 1997 for 1.9 billion dollars to Ruppert Murdoch’s Fox network. Did Christians give their money to make Pat’s family wealthy, and so that a TV network acquired for spreading the gospel would eventually fall into godless hands? All of the “miracles” Pat tells about concerning CBN’s great success story now have a hollow ring.
