Nuggets from Occult Invasion | thebereancall.org

Simple ignorance has created the fallacy about a “point of contact” as the key to getting miracles. Faith teachers have thereby led millions of their followers into one more form of occultism. According to John Goodwin, former Vineyard pastor and close associate of John Wimber:

“Wimber talked about the use of relics to heal people. He believed that is legitimate…relics are things saints have either touched or owned, their bones, a lock of hair, having been imbued with the healing power of the saint and someone comes into contact with that relic and they get healed. [Wimber] encouraged that. He says, ‘That’s been going on in the Catholic Church for 1200 years…. We Protestants have a problem with that, don’t we…but we healers shouldn’t.”
