Nuggets from Occult Invasion

The Bible says nothing about going on the offensive against demonic strongholds. Nor did the apostles and early church ever engage in such a practice. When Paul cast the demon out of the “damsel possessed with a spirit of divination” (Acts:16:16And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
See All...), it was only after she had followed Paul “many days” and he was at last “grieved” by the continued attempt of Satan to identify his ministry with divination. Paul did not travel about on the offensive against demons—ever. The details in Acts demonstrate the living-out of what Christ meant by the following:

“Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man?...Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven….
