In 1989, more than 1300 pastors from many denominations, led by Lloyd Ogilvie and Jack Hayford, began meeting quarterly in prayer at the Hollywood Presbyterian Church to wage spiritual warfare for the “deliverance” of Los Angeles. In the years that followed evil has increased.
