The Charisma article cited above referred to “a select group of intercessors [who] convened in Southern California [early in 1990] to discuss the role of prayer in overcoming territorial spirits and winning the lost.” The group included “C. Peter Wagner, John Dawson, Cindy Jacobs, Jack Hayford, Larry Lea, Gwen Shaw, Dick Bernal, Tom White, Joy Dawson, and Dick Eastman.” (Other members include Ed Murphy, Charles Craft, and Frank Peretti.) They formed the Spiritual Warfare Network, which plays a significant role in the United Prayer Track of the A.D. 2000 Movement. Referring to these “foremost experts in the spiritual warfare movement,” Charisma said:

“Their insights on the subject of spiritual warfare were not derived solely through Bible study, but also through personal experiences of challenging the forces of darkness.”
