Roman Catholicism has perverted the gospel. Salvation no longer comes through the once-for-all sacrifice of Christ upon the cross in which He fully paid the penalty which His own infinite justice demanded for sin. It now comes through a form of ritual magic whereby bread and wine are transformed into the body and blood of Christ, to be sacrificed for partial forgiveness of sins—a sacrifice that must be repeated endlessly.
